Ammy eating food… she absolutely LOVES food!
If Ammy weren’t banishing demons all day and burning off all those excess calories, she’d be as heavy and wide as “Sleepy the Bear”!
So then, why are there only a couple of drawings available that show Ammy with food? This is a mystery that I have yet to unravel. Therefore, I shall leave this blog post unfinished for now, to be completed in the future.

Issun is certainly enjoying himself watching how fond Ammy is, of those famous cherry cakes – although he’d better be careful not to get gobbled up too!

I’ve overindulged a bit on fine foods and desserts over the Christmas Holidays and now put myself on a diet to keep my (reasonably) trim physique, but seeing Ammy dig in like that makes me hungry. 
Of course as a long-time dog owner, I must comment on how unhealthy it must be for any creature to eat so much cake (although gods probably have a stronger constitution) – not that I have food envy, or anything… just genuine concern of course.

One of the advantages to being a god (or goddess), is being able to eat dessert first, and then move on to the main meal! 
I wonder if Ammy’s busy deciding on whether oranges are considered a main meal, or just a dessert.
If they’re a meal, then she would have moved on from desserts, but if they’re still a dessert, then that means that there’s a clear path to more desserts, and then the main meals – you know, so that there’s no going from dessert, to the main meal and then back to dessert again…
Instead, if the oranges were a dessert, then it would be a straight path from dessert to main meal, you see? Issun probably thinks they’re a meal by the look of things.
Do you think oranges are a meal, or a dessert?
